All versions of the Overtur for Revit Plugin 6.0.x.x are currently supported and active. Minor updates are provided periodically.

Introduction

The Overtur for Revit Plugin connects your Revit workflow directly to the Overtur suite, synchronizing door schedule data, supporting drawings, and documents to a project within the Overtur collaboration web-based environment. This direct data transfer reduces manual effort and helps the everyday Revit user avoid errors, coordinate more reliably with the rest of the project team, and manipulate and check data in their projects with confidence.

Once installed, the plugin will provide an Overtur Ribbon to the Revit interface. The plugin allows a user to send door schedule data to Overtur. Upon completion of generating hardware sets within the Overtur Cloud collaboration platform, the Revit user can retrieve these hardware sets to populate an Overtur-provided or user-selected (pre-defined) parameter within the active model.

Furthermore, Overtur for Revit is compatible with numerous collaboration workflows, including Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and A360) and Revit Server. As Overtur is a user interface that enhances their own experience, neither Allegion nor any Allegion employee ever has access to the user's Revit model.

Shared file descriptions are now auto-populated with a snapshot of what was selected to create the file; customization or editing can still be completed within the web interface

Other installed Revit add-ins may need to be updated, as the Overtur for Revit Plugin is designed to be compatible with the latest updates as provided by Autodesk API Libraries.
The Overtur for Revit Plugin will be compatible with the latest version of Revit available, including hotfixes, which could require a Revit update to be installed.

Required Release Updates

The Overtur for Revit Plugin team is excited to announce a required release for the plugin on 09/21/2026. In order to use the plugin on or after this date, you will be required to update the plugin. The following features are being released:

Revit 2027 Support: The plugin is now compatible with Revit 2027, supporting versions 2024-2027.
Redesigned Save (Sync) Reminders: A cleaner, more native-feeling design makes it easier to know when, and how, to sync your work in both Send and Retrieve.
Improved Send (Print Step): Streamlined export options and default selection for a faster, more intuitive workflow.
Drawing-Sharing Guidance: Refined guidance when sharing drawings helps ensure the right drawings are selected with confidence.
Save Your Own Schedule Layout: Save and reuse your preferred schedule layouts instead of rebuilding them each time you send or retrieve data.
New Installer: This release moves to a new installer technology. In most cases installation will feel the same. If you run into any install issues, please reach out to support or refer to the Installation Guide.
Modeless Mode: Continued improvements to the General Panel and Account/Auth experience, so you can keep working in Revit without interruption.

The Overtur for Revit Plugin is provided at no charge to users for collaboration purposes while using the Allegion Overtur collaboration environment(s) for the purpose of the coordination of door hardware design, construction, and operation.
