• All versions of the Overtur for Revit Plugin 4.0.x.x are currently supported and active. Minor updates are provided periodically. 

Introduction

The Overtur for Revit Plugin assists users by providing an easy means to transfer door schedule data, supporting drawings, and documents to a project within the Overtur collaboration web-based environment. Moreover, the Overtur for Revit Plugin includes time-saving tools to help the everyday Revit user manipulate and check data in their projects.

Once installed, the plugin will provide an Overtur Ribbon to the Revit interface. The plugin allows a user to send door schedule data to Overtur. Upon completion of generating hardware sets within the Overtur Cloud collaboration platform, the Revit user can retrieve these hardware sets to populate an Overtur-provided or user-selected (pre-defined) parameter within the active model.

Furthermore, Overtur for Revit is compatible with numerous collaboration workflows, including Autodesk Construction Collaboration Cloud (ACCC)(AKA Bim360 or A360) and Revit Server. As Overtur is a user interface that enhances their own experience, neither Allegion nor any Allegion employee ever has access to the user's Revit model.

Frequently, software update processes can differ between companies. We highly recommend that, before installing any software or updating existing software, your local IT Specialist reviews our literature or, in some cases, performs the installation process.

Parameter Requirements

Compatibility Footnotes

Other installed Revit add-ins may need to be updated, as Overtur for Revit Plugin is designed to be compatible with the latest updates as provided by Autodesk API Libraries.

The Overtur for Revit Plugin will be compatible with the latest version of Revit available, including hotfixes, which could require a Revit update to be installed.

License

The Overtur for Revit Plugin is provided at no charge to users for collaboration purposes while using the Allegion Overtur collaboration environment(s) for the purpose of the coordination of door hardware design, construction, and operation. As a courtesy, other tools may be provided as part of the Overtur for Revit Plugin which may be used on any project.
